2019 Ford Ranger

The New 2019 Ford Ranger truck has finally came out with a new design for the 2019 model. The folks who want to own a truck but don't want a full size truck now have the option with the Ranger. The Ranger will also be available in a hand full of trim-line packages from XL all the way up to Lariat edition.

For the time being the new Ford Ranger will come with the 2.3L Ecoboost Engine. But word is other engines will be available to put in the Ranger, most interesting a Diesel version will come out later just like the delay in the F-150 Diesel.

  • FX4 OFF-Road Package- gives you bash and skid plates on the underside to help protect the engine from obstacles when you go off road. There is also a Status screen to let you monitor the pitch and roll and the steering angle of the front wheels.
  • Trail Control- is the off road version cruise control to keep you at a consistent speed between 1- 20MPH.
  • Terrain Management System- lets you switch on the fly between the different modes depending on the road conditions. The knob lets you switch from Grass/Gravel/Snow/Mud Ruts, Sand and Normal Mode. These different modes allows the engine to shift at different timing intervals depending Mode you choose.
  • Electronic Locking Rear Differential- is designed for low speeds and low traction situations. a good example of its use is if you are on a slippery boat ramp hauling your vessel out of the water on a trailer.
